ESF+
The European Social Fund Plus (ESF+) is the European Union’s main instrument for investing in people. It integrates the former European Social Fund, the Youth Employment Initiative (YEI), the Fund for European Aid to the Most Deprived (FEAD) and the EU Programme for Employment and Social Innovation (EaSI).
With a budget of €99.3 billion for the period 2021-2027, the ESF+ will continue to make an important contribution to the EU’s employment, social, education and skills policies, including structural reforms in these areas.
EGF
The European Globalisation Adjustment Fund for Displaced Workers (EGF) helps workers or self-employed find new jobs and develop new skills when they have lost their jobs, no matter what caused the job displacement. EGF is a special EU instrument to express solidarity with displaced workers.
